Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have reportedly ended their engagement, according to Daily Mail on Friday, August 16, 2024.
The Coldplay frontman, 47, and the 34-year-old actress have called it quits after seven years together.
A source close to the couple told the outlet, “They have now accepted the relationship is over and it’s best to move on.”
Johnson has been absent from Martin’s European tour with Coldplay, and she was recently seen in Malibu without her engagement ring.
Although the exact timing of Martin’s proposal is unclear, Johnson has been wearing the ring since 2020.
Sources confirm that the couple had been engaged for six years.
Martin began dating Johnson in 2017, following his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow. The former couple shares two children: daughter Apple, 20, and son Moses, 18.
