The day has come for the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest, which starts on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
One of the designated locations for the protest, Gani Fawehinmi Park in Lagos, is currently quiet and has not seen any protesters yet.
Although no protesters are present at the park, the police are already on the ground, ensuring security and order.
The Lagos state government had announced this location as a key spot for the demonstrations, but it remains empty as the day begins.
As of 08:01am, there were still no protesters at the park.
