The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, says the Federal Government (FG) has rice available for sale at ₦40,000 per bag, but the sale centers cannot be announced yet.
This decision is to prevent the rice from being taken by people with money who might hoard it.
Idris spoke to journalists at Radio House in Abuja on Wednesday.
He explained that the rice was still being distributed to states, and the locations of the sale centers were kept secret for security reasons.
Why No Announcement Of Rice Sales
