The joint task force of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) and Lagos State Environment and Special Offences team commenced the removal of shanties and makeshift structures built under Adeniji Adele bridge after expiration of the vacation notice.

Sometime last week, illegal apartments were discovered by the Lagos state government beneath the Osborne, Ikoyi bridge.

The occupants of the partitioned apartments revealed that they paid ₦250,000 as annual rent to self-acclaimed landlords.
