Grammy: Reactions As Davido Congratulates Tyla

Davido’s fans are not having it cool with the organizers of the Grammy awards.

According to them, Davido had worked so hard in his music career and no one else deserves the award given to Tyla but him.

The Grammy awards is one that musicians around the world always look forward to.

Winning a Grammy is often seen as the biggest height any music artist can attain.

The 66th Grammy Awards ceremony held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles., United States on Sunday January 4, 2024.

South Africa’s musician, Tyla beat all nominated Five Nigerian music artists in the Best African Music Performance –

David Adeleke, aka, Davido;

Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy;

Ahmed Ololade, aka Asake;

Olamide Adedeji, aka Baddo; and

Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, aka Ayra Starr

The 22 year old couldn’t contain her excitement when she was called up stage to receive her award.

Tyla Grammy”I never thought I’d say I won a GRAMMY at 22 years old,” the South African singer said.

Although coming up against stiff competition, including massive Afrobeats stars Burna Boy and Davido, Tyla’s hit song “Water” proved undeniable for GRAMMY voters.

However, Davido congratulated Tyla on her win.

“Congratulations on your win @Tyla. Big one for Africa! Keep soaring!”
