Christian Pulisic reflected on an amazing “night” after collecting the Serie Player of the Month award and helping AC Milan to another win on Sunday.
The United States international has hit a serious purple patch in Italian football, with his decision to leave Chelsea for San Siro in the summer of 2023 being justified.
Pulisic has delivered a flurry of goals and assists over recent weeks.
Those efforts have been recognised, with the 25-year-old forward being picked out as the best-performing player in Serie A across December.
He found the target on two occasions in the final month of 2023, while also teeing up two efforts for his team-mates.
Pulisic got his hands on a prestigious individual prize ahead of AC Milan’s clash with Roma on Sunday.
He then went on to help the Rossoneri to a convincing 3-1 win over Jose Mourinho’s side, leading him to post on social media afterwards: “What a night thank you fans for the support”.

However, Pulisic will be hoping that there are more awards to come for him, as he chases down Europa League glory with Milan in 2024.
He also has shots at major silverware with the USMNT to come, as they prepare for CONCACAF Nations League finals and Copa America campaigns.
