Not less than 2,040 Katsina farmers are ready for the next farming season, with an intention to reduce Nigeria’s food insecurity.
Their readiness is as a result of the governor of Katsina’s assistance, preparing them ahead of the next farming season.
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda empowered the Katsina farmers with farming implements to boost food production in 2024.
Part of what the Katsina farmers also got is a training on how to engage in productive farming in the dry season.
Radda provided fertilisers, seedlings, and other types of equipment that boost mechanised farming and mass food production.
