It seems an end is near to the Ondo political crisis. It has been months of tussle, as the Governor battles to regain his health to face the task of leadership.
One more time, President Bola Tinubu is giving a shot at resolving the Ondo political crisis.
Now, President Tinubu has summoned the acting Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji and others.
The meeting with the president will hold at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Report has it that the meeting scheduled to hold later on Monday may be connected with the festering political crisis.
A reliable source in Akure revealed that the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Oladunni Odu, and the state chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin, were equally invited by the President.
‘Status Quo Should Remain’
In November, a similar meeting was held.
It had in attendance, the state party chairman, Adetimehin, Odu, the son of the governor, Babajide Akeredolu.
Also, the Senators representing Ondo South, Jimoh Ibrahim, Ondo North, Jide Ipinsagba, and Central District, Adeniyi Adegbonmire were present.

Part of the resolution then was that the status quo should remain.
Transfer Of Power
The latest meeting comes after Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, informed the Assembly about his intention to go on a another medical vacation.
Akeredolu did not stop there, he also delegated his powers to his deputy.
The speaker in the state believes the transfer of power was necessary.
Also, doctors had advised the ailing state leader to attend to his health.
