On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, rumours of the death of indigenous rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, spread after an announcement on his official Instagram page.
The 28-year-old died at 10:14 p.m. yesterday, November 14, 2023.

In the late hours of yesterday, November 14, 2023, a video of him making the rounds on social media showed him telling a man, Rashid, to take him to the hospital.
However, before the video, the rapper took to his Instagram story, where he mentioned one of his friends, @onlyonelifetime, and asked where he was. The rapper complained about how he had tried to reach the friend on the phone several times and how they knew he didn’t like to be left alone in the house, especially with his condition.
However, the cause of death is unknown.
