Shola Ogudu, the first baby mama of Nigerian music sensation, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has shared a surprising revelation about her pregnancy.
During an interview on Maria Chike’s podcast, “Mum Next Door,” Shola disclosed that she was unaware of her pregnancy until she was already five months long.
Reflecting on her experience, Shola explained that she was in her final year at the university when she became pregnant.
Despite being four months into the pregnancy, she remained oblivious to her condition until the fifth month.
“I had my baby pretty early,” she said. “I was in the university, my final year. To be honest, I was pregnant for four months without knowing. It wasn’t until I was five months gone that I realised I was expecting.”
Shola also touched on the concerns of her parents, who were primarily focused on her academic success.
They were keen for her to complete her university education, which she did with commendable grades despite the unexpected pregnancy.
“My parents were concerned about my studies because I was in my final year,” she added. “But I managed to finish university and did so with good grades.”
