Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has vowed not to support Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, in his political career anymore, accusing him of dishonesty.
Wike made the declaration during an interview on Channels Television on Friday, September 13.
The former Rivers State governor expressed his disappointment with Governor Fubara, accusing him of spreading lies against him.
Although, Wike did not elaborate on the details of the accusations, he made it clear that he would no longer back the current Rivers State leader.
Furthermore, in the same interview, Wike made a striking statement ahead of the upcoming Edo State governorship election, scheduled for September 21.
He vowed not to support the incumbent Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, or the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate sue Ighodalo, who is being supported by Obaseki.

Wike referred to Governor Obaseki as
“an ingrate” during the interview.
However, his refusal to support Ighodalo suggests deepening divisions within the PDP ahead of the Edo State election.
