Antony will reportedly continue at Manchester United despite a late push to head to Turkey in a loan deal.
The 24-year-old has found it difficult to break into Erik ten Hag’s first-team plans at United this season. His only appearance so far was a brief 89th-minute cameo against Brighton, raising questions about his future at the club.
The former Ajax star had reportedly expressed his desire to leave on loan in search of regular game time, with several clubs keen to secure his services including Turkish giants Fenerbahce, coached by former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.
The Turkish transfer window is still open until September 13.
Despite the growing interest in the winger, it now seems increasingly unlikely that United will allow Antony to leave, according to the Daily Mail.Â
The Red Devils feel that they are short on options in wide areas having already seen several attacking players leave this summer, including Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, Facundo Pellistri, and Omari Forson.
Given this exodus, the chances of Antony securing a loan move to Turkey have significantly diminished.

Ten Hag, who brought Antony to the club for a hefty £85 million ($111m) fee from Ajax two years ago, has opted to prioritize other wingers in his system.
Both Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho have been preferred in the wide attacking roles so far this season, leaving Antony with limited opportunities to impress.
