The estate of late pop icon Whitney E. Houston has announced a special concert tour titled The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration. The North American tour is set to begin in September 2025.
This one-of-a-kind concert series will feature newly arranged orchestral versions of Whitney Houston’s most iconic songs, layered with her original remastered vocals.
Fans can expect to experience classics like “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “Higher Love” in a fresh, emotional way.
The show will also include never-before-seen video footage, exclusive interviews, and rare performance clips, offering a full, immersive celebration of the late singer’s life and legacy.
A 35-piece orchestra made up entirely of musicians of colour—will perform live on stage, bringing added richness to the experience.
The tour will launch in Cincinnati and visit other cities including Wilmington, Thousand Oaks, and Palm Desert, with a final show scheduled in Mesa, Arizona.
More tour dates for 2025 and 2026 are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
The symphonic tribute has already received a warm reception, following successful performances with the Chicago Philharmonic at the Ravinia Festival and the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center.
A special performance also took place at The Town Hall in New York City—47 years after a young Whitney first took the stage there in 1978. That show included a powerful orchestral rendition of “Tomorrow,” arranged by Camille Thurman.
Pat Houston, President of The Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation, shared her excitement about the upcoming tour and hinted at possible international dates due to growing global interest.
