Actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham, premiered her latest movie, entitled ‘Iyálóde’, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Filmhouse IMAX in Lekki, Lagos.
‘Iyálóde’ is a historical Nollywood drama that tells the story of Asabi Onile, a brave warrior, in the village of Kulende. Asabi fights for justice and tries to find peace, while facing betrayal and the challenges of tradition.
The movie shows her journey as she rises to take back her destiny.
The film features top Nollywood stars including Wale Ojo, Kehinde Bankole, Bukky Wright, and Kolawole Ajeyemi, among others.
Many celebrities and popular faces were at the premiereof ‘Iyálóde’ by Toyin Abraham. They include skitmaker Kie Kie, food critic Opeyemi Famakin, comedian Taaooma, and actress Eucharia-Anunobi Ekwu.
IYÁLÓDE will be available in cinemas across Nigeria from Friday, June 6, 2025.
