Sorry, we do not mean to be carriers of bad news, but there is something that happened with an aircraft, belonging to Dana Air that we need to bring to your notice.

You see, passengers onboard the plane with registration number 5N BKI flying from Abuja to Lagos were engulfed with fear.

We are all aware of the dangers of plane crashes. As a result, we cannot help but imagine the fear that must have gripped the passengers in that plane, following the near crash incident.

It happened on Tuesday, as people onboard the plane prepared to reunite with their loved ones or go about whatever business that brought them to the state.

The plane skidded off the runway.

No Casualties Recorded

Trust Nigerians, we are certain that the “blood of Jesus” must have been the word on every lip in that plane.

We know this because, Nigerians in their usual manner always remember God when they are faced with difficulty, especially one as scary as this.

The incident happened at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

Fortunately, no casualties were recorded, but the aircraft suffered minimal damage.

Bad Weather

Reports have it that there was a bad weather situation in Lagos.

Apparently, the airplane had taken off before the rain began in Lagos.

That being said, it was gathered that calm has been restored after the near crash incident.

A Statement released by Dana shortly after, confirmed the incident. It says all 83 passengers and crew onboard the flight disembarked safely without injuries.

The airline has also updated the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on the incident.

Meanwhile, the aircraft involved was grounded by the maintenance team for further investigation.
