Capt. Chika Ernest, the pilot that flew the helicopter that crashed on Friday, has been hailed as a hero for reportedly emptying his fuel tank moments before the sad incident.

Having sustained injuries, he was rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) while two other on-board persons died on the spot.
He, however, succumbed to injuries and died, but his heroic act continues to gather praise as he helped prevent greater casualties.

In the video he was in a luggage bag popularly known as Ghana-must-go, while colleagues joked saying, ”Chika must go” to which he responded, ”I’m not going anywhere o.”
