Is the VeryDarkMan in trouble? This is one question most people are now asking, after he released a voice note alleged to be that of Bobrisky, with a claim that he spent prison days in a VIP apartment.

Now the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited him to their office, but he turned it down.

In a recent video, VeryDarkMan explained why he refused to respond to the EFCC’s invitation.

The invitation is regarding allegations of corruption within the agency.

In a recent video, VeryDarkMan shared an audio clip allegedly of Bobrisky, where the social media personality claimed he was asked to pay ₦15 million to have his money laundering charges dropped.

Following this, the EFCC invited both VeryDarkMan and Bobrisky to its Lagos office to assist in the investigation of the alleged bribery.

However, on Wednesday, VeryDarkMan announced that he won’t attend the Lagos meeting.

He stated that he doesn’t live in Lagos and has concerns about his safety if he travels there.

Instead, he requested that the EFCC invite them to its Abuja office, where the agency’s headquarters is located.

‘Fears Of Being Set Up’

Also, he criticised the EFCC for not properly ensuring that Bobrisky was held accountable after his sentencing.

“Before you invite someone like me, investigate your officers first. Once you have the truth from the officers who handled Bobrisky’s case, then you can call me,” he stated.

VeryDarkMan added that he was unwilling to travel to Lagos because he ‘fears being set up’.
