The Department of State Services (DSS) has released ex-CBN Deputy Governor, Dr Obadiah Mailafia, six hours after his arrest.
Mailafia was arrested at noon today, and released sometime after 6pm.

He had been credited with saying a northern Governor was heading the Boko Haram sect.

Upon arrival at the DSS office in Jos, Plateau state, he was ushered in with his lawyer, Pius Akubo, SAN, while everyone else was barred from entry.
