England manager Thomas Tuchel has been pictured enjoying a night out with some of his former Chelsea players.

Tuchel is preparing to name the first squad of his tenure as Three Lions boss, but that hasn’t stopped him enjoying some downtime with some members of the squad that won the Champions League under his tutelage back in 2021.
The German tactician posed alongside now-Arsenal man Jorginho in a photo shared on Instagram by the midfielder’s fiancee Cat Cavelli.
More images from the same night showed that the likes of Chelsea captain Reece James, defender Trevoh Chalobah and loanee Ben Chilwell were also present at the unknown event, as well as former Blue Mason Mount, who controversially joined Manchester United in 2023.
Most of the players pictured formed a part of Tuchel’s Champions League-winning squad from the 2020-21 campaign, with the west London club lifting the trophy in Porto against the odds after downing Manchester City courtesy of a Kai Havertz goal.
Chalobah made his first-team breakthrough the following season.

Although he appears relaxed, Tuchel is gearing up for a busy period as he begins work as England manager in earnest after being appointed back in October.
The 51-year-old faces a number of challenges – including injuries, scrutiny over working from home and out-of-form stars – as he prepares to name his first-ever squad.
The Three Lions face Albania and Latvia in World Cup qualifying later in March.
