Speaking during his presentation, Alexander-Arnold said, “This is a dream come true. I’m very proud and happy to be here.”
“I know the demands at Real Madrid are high, but I’m ready to give everything for the team and the fans.”
“I want to win titles and enjoy playing with the best in the world.”
Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez called Alexander-Arnold a legend and one of the world’s best full-backs.
“At just 26, he has already won everything in football,” Pérez said. “He could have gone anywhere, but he chose to wear the Real Madrid shirt. Our fans will always remember this decision.”
Alexander-Arnold will wear the number 12 shirt, formerly Camavinga’s, and join Real Madrid’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign in the USA against Al-Hilal, Pachuca, and Red Bull Salzburg.
