U.S. rapper Travis Scott was arrested in Paris after an altercation with his bodyguard at the George V hotel.
French prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation following the incident, which occurred early Friday, August 9, 2024.
Reports indicate that Scott was intoxicated at the time of the altercation. The rapper was seen attending the men’s basketball semi-finals at the Olympics on Thursday evening, August 7, 2024.
This arrest follows a previous incident in June, when Scott was arrested in Miami Beach for trespassing and disorderly intoxication.
Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, is a prominent American musician. His latest album, Utopia, was nominated for Best Rap Album at this year’s Grammy Awards.
