Movie star, Toyin Abraham’s comedy movie will premiere on October 1, 2020 in cinemas nationwide.
The actress confirmed this development via an Instagram post that the comedy flick will premiere in cinemas on October 1 after it had been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Fate of Alakada is hitting all cinemas in Nigeria on the 1st of October, Independence Day, oya who’s coming? Just come and have a good laugh”, wrote Abraham
It would be recalled that the movie was billed to be released on April 3 alongside a lavish ceremony which were all set aside due to the Covid-19 pandemic which resulted into a compulsory lockdown of all activities in the country.
The star-studded production produced by Toyin Abraham and directed by Kayode Kasum continues the hilarious journey of Yetunde alongside Instagram comedian, Broda Shaggi. It is the fifth instalment in her fan-favourite ‘Alakada’ film franchise.
