Tottenham Hotspur’s owners, ENIC, have invested £150 million in the club as they hope to compete next season under Antonio Conte.

ENIC, which is controlled by Joe Lewis, who is worth £4.3 billion according to Forbes, has agreed to a capital raise of up to £150 million with Spurs through the issuance of convertible A Shares and warrants.

“The equity investment gives the Premier League Team with additional financial flexibility and the potential to further develop on and off the pitch,” the club said in a statement.

Spurs owner Daniel Levy stated: “The delivery of a world-class stadium has always been a critical building component in creating varied income that allow us to invest in the teams and support our goals to compete at the top levels of European football on a continuous basis. ENIC’s additional resources will now allow for more investment in the club at a critical moment.'”
