Daughter of Brazil football legend, Pele, has said there is no emergency over her father’s health as opposed to what is circulating in the media.
ESPN Brasil, on Wednesday, had reported that Pele has been taken to Sao Paulo’s Hospital Albert Einstein with “general swelling”
The legend’s daughter, Kely Nascimento, did not deny this but claimed there was “no new dire prediction”.
She said this in a post on Instagram on Wednesday, promising to share pictures with him when she visits to celebrate the New Year.

She said, “Lots of alarm in the media today concerning my dad’s health.
“He is in the hospital regulating medication.
“There is no emergency or new dire prediction. I will be there for New Years and promise to post some pictures.”
ESPN Brasil has also reported that the 82-year-old football legend was having cardiac issues and there are concerns that his treatment is not being effective.
