The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has finally summoned actor, Yomi Fabiyi over his recent movie titled ‘Oko Iyabo’.
Recall that after the release of the movie, Nigerians took to social media to criticize the work of art alleging that the movie made a mockery of Baba Ijesha and Princess over child molestation.
Reacting to this, TAMPAN in a press release has invited Yomi Fabiyi to appear before the committee on Ethics, conflict and resolution on Thursday July 8, 2021.
According to the association, the film his sparked off another round of dissension between them and the public which is unacceptable to them and to what they represent.
However the case is still in court and awaiting trial.
