The new jerseys for Super Eagles and other Nigerian national football teams have been revealed before their official launch.
The kits, designed by Nigeria Football Federation partners Nike, were leaked online .
The design for the new home shirt has strong similarities to traditional Nigerian outfits, appearing like a hybrid of adire and ankara fabrics that are popular in the south west of the country.
The home shirt is prominently green, featuring different shades of the Nigerian national colour and a dash of black drawn in patterns, with the silhouette of an eagle in the chest area.
The shorts and socks of the home kit are plain white and green like the national flag.
The away jersey is white with a black pattern on the sleeves. Green applications are used for parts of the collar and the sleeve cuffs of the away shirt, while the Nike Swoosh is black.
The kits are expected to be officially unveiled by the NFF in the coming days and could be worn for the first time on September 27 when the Super Eagles face Algeria in a friendly in Oran.
This is what the Super Eagles would have worn if they had qualified for the World Cup in Qatar
