The Atlas Lions of Morocco lead Africa’s rankings at 14th globally, with Senegal and Egypt in 21st and 31st places, respectively.

Reigning Africa Cup of Nations champions Côte d’Ivoire are ranked 33rd, while Tunisia sits in 36th.

The Super Eagles, under interim coach Austin Eguavoen, recently delivered a 3-0 win over Benin Republic in Uyo, followed by a goalless draw against Rwanda in Kigali, but these results were not enough to move them up the rankings.

Globally, there are no changes in the top 10. World Cup champions Argentina continue to hold the number one spot, followed by France in second, Spain in third, England in fourth, and Brazil in fifth.

Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Colombia, and Italy round out the top 10.
