A suspected suicide bomber has died in Afikpo, Ebonyi State on Tuesday after a bomb exploded on his chest, consuming the upper part of his body.

According to eye witnesses, the male bomber attempted to gain entry into Amaizu/Amangbala Primary School but was stopped by security personnel of the school as he has no convincing reason.
The bomb on him exploded as he ran towards a nearby bush, shattering his upper body and leaving him as the only fatal casualty.
