Tottenham have today rained hell on the red devils of Manchester United in a seven-goal thriller at Old Trafford.

The Sunday evening kickoff between the two English sides started well for the hosts who got on the scoresheet courtesy a 2nd-minute penalty goal by Bruno Fernandes.

As though inspired to perform an exorcism, Tottenham swung into life and were 2-1 up inside seven minutes thanks to Tanguy Ndombele (4) and Son Heung-Min (7).

The onslaught continued as Tottenham tapped into the Sabbath day significance of their white garments to inflict a 4-1 half time drubbing, with goals coming from Harry Kane (30) and Son (37) again.

There was much talk about Harry Maguire’s defending – a case in point being his tackle on Luke Shaw to allow Ndombele score Spurs’ equaliser.

The marquee signing had an underwhelming opening half, but did little to make up for it in the second half as Tottenham scored two more to run out 6-1 winners.

They became the first side to score six past the Manchester side since neighbours, Manchester City won by the same scoreline back in October 2011.
