Spider-Man star, Tom Holland, has officially confirmed his return as the iconic superhero in the much-anticipated fourth installment of the Marvel franchise.
The 28-year-old actor shared the exciting news during his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Also, he reveals that production is set to begin next summer and that plans for the film were well underway.
“It’s happening. We start shooting next summer, and everything is good to go. We’re nearly there, and it’s super exciting. I can’t wait,” Holland enthusiastically told Fallon.
Fans are thrilled about Holland’s return
However, Tom Holland remained tight-lipped on whether his girlfriend, actress Zendaya, who plays MJ in the franchise, would reprise her role in the new film.
The couple, who met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, have been in a relationship for some time.
No official word has been given on Zendaya’s involvement in the next Spider-Man chapter.
During his chat with Fallon, Holland also reflected on a lighthearted story from the early days of landing his Spider-Man role.
