Fast rising act, Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems who recently disclosed her mother’s identity has shared her life experience before coming into limelight.
The singer revealed that life had not been fair to her and her mom as they passed through some difficult times in their life.

According to Tems, her mom was attacked by unknown person who broke into their house and held her at knifepoint.
She added further that at a point in her life, she had to quit her job and took permission from her mother to venture into music which totally changed their lives.
Speaking further Tems said she will be dedicating one of her hit tracks, ‘Mr Rebel’ to her mother.
It would be recalled that Tems shared a rare photo of herself and her mother with her fans and followers which left many fishing over her.
The photo captured the beautiful Tems and her mother in a warm and cozy embrace.
The picture was also accompanied by an old photo of Tems’ mother, alleged to be a cover for a seasoning advert.
