The authorities of Saudi Arabia have approved the transportation of the body of the late elder statesman and business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to the holy city of Madinah for his final rites on Monday.
This comes as the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) expressed profound grief over the passage of the elder statesman.
The Private Principal Secretary to the late Dantata, Alhaji Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, via his verified Facebook page, announced the scheduled burial in Madinah.
“It has been confirmed that Aminu Alhassan Dantata will be transported from Abu Dhabi to the holy city of Madinah for his final rites.
“Authorities have granted the necessary approvals for the transfer, and preparations are underway for the Janazah (funeral prayer), scheduled to take place tomorrow morning, Insha Allah,” Junaidu stated.

He had earlier posted that the deceased had wished to be buried in Madinah, beside his late wife.
Junaidu said the delay in finalising the burial arrangements was partly due to the weekend, thus affecting the pace of processing necessary documentation and approvals.
