Tere is no limit to what people do when it comes to creating contents on the internet, but when it comes to things like sexual relations with a minor it is a different thing altogether. Indeed, popular entertainer, Speed Darlington, is in the middle of what could be a big trouble.
Recently, he shared a video on Instagram where he appeared to recount an encounter with a 15-year-old girl.
Speaking in Igbo, Speed Darlington described an incident that allegedly took place at an unnamed hotel.
Also, he claimed that the girl was left bleeding after the sexual encounter.
He had to pay hotel staff N2,000 to have the sheets changed.
His revelations triggered an uproar on social media, with many people demanding that relevant authorities should arrest and detain Speed Darlington.
In response, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) issued a statement acknowledging the viral clip.
“We are aware of the troubling video circulating online, in which a public figure allegedly makes admissions involving a minor,” the agency wrote.
They further clarified that although the individual did not mention the location of the incident, the DSVA’s powers are confined to Lagos State.

“Given the circumstances, and in line with our commitment to upholding justice, the matter has been escalated to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP),” the DSVA concluded.
Basically, concerns are on whether the video was made as a content to draw attention or something that truly happened?
But in advanced world, no such content regarding a minor could go on social media without commensurate punishment.
Will Speed Darlington be punished for this?
