Security operatives have uncovered the sum of one hundred and fifty million US dollars allegedly belonging to the suspended chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu.
The money according to the report was excavated from an Ikoyi Cemetery in Lagos.
Disclosing this via his Facebook handle, Lere Olayinka, media aide to former Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Peter Fayose, quoted ‘IrunmaleReporters’ as saying that the cash was mint, and covered with water-proof and fire-proof. He alleged that it was buried inside one of the graves in the cemetery.
Recall that the Department of the State Service, DSS, had since two days been quizzing Magu to unravel the truth behind the allegations leveled against him by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami and other Nigerians.
