Nigerian superstar singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has stirred massive reactions on social media after he paid tribute to his colleague, David Adeleke aka Davido following the demise of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Social media users via their handles expressed shock over the development as many fans of the two singers believe they are not on good terms, however, Wizkid had put off the lights and sang some of Davido’s hit songs during his sold-out concert held at the Madison Square Garden in the United States of America.
Wizkid was heard saying “Davido we love you, OBO we love you”… This one is for OBO” as the singer’s music played loudly at the concert venue and the audience sang along with a loud voice.
Reacting to the development, Nigerians on social media showered praises on BigWiz for his support and love towards Davido. A large section said they anticipate a day both singers will rock the same stage.

Just saw the video from Wizkid’s concert where he played Davido’s song with lights out to show love and support for him. I still say I want to see these two rock stages together and their coming together will be one of the most beautiful things the industry has ever seen.

Wizkid paying a tribute to Davido’s son at his MSG show is the sweetest thing I’m hearing today. A king.

Wizkid paying a tribute to Ifeanyi by playing Davido's song is commendable, nicely done; But if he's truly supportive of Davido he should start acknowledging him online from now on, & also cauti¤n FC to st¤p with the b!tterness. Let's hope the love is genuine. RIP to Ifeanyi.
