Music icon Quincy Jones was laid to rest in a private ceremony in Los Angeles a week after his death at the age of 91.
The intimate service was attended by his seven children, brother, two sisters, and immediate family members.
The family of the 28-time Grammy-winning producer, arranger, and composer expressed their deep gratitude for the global outpouring of condolences and tributes.
Known for his remarkable career spanning over six decades, Jones worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin.
His production of Jackson’s iconic album Thriller remains one of the greatest achievements in music history.
Jones passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his home in Bel Air, Los Angeles, surrounded by family.
Although the family did not reveal the location of the private ceremony, they shared that they are enormously grateful for the support from his fans around the world.
