Christian Pulisic has called on AC Milan to “make a change” ahead of facing rivals Inter following a resounding loss to Liverpool.
United States international Pulisic gave Milan the lead in their Champions League opener on Tuesday night, only for the Reds to respond with three unanswered goals to secure an impressive win.
However, the 26-year-old said his team must find solutions after “another bad result”, insisting they need to maintain momentum when they’re on top in a game.
On the Liverpool loss, he told Sky Italia: “Another bad result for us, we need to find solutions, improve and win games.
“At certain moments we had it (energy), but it seems that we are unable to maintain momentum and keep the ball in the opponent’s half.
“It’s a difficult start to the season for us, we are not happy and we need to change things.”
Ahead of facing rivals Inter, he added: “It’s a great game for us and we need to give it our all, fight, make a change.”
Milan sit 10th in Serie A after picking up four points from five games this season.
Next up, they face defending league champions Inter – who are unbeaten so far this campaign.
Another bad result would put more pressure on new manager Paulo Fonseca and his Milan players.
