The President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has conferred national honors on Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Usman Alkali Baba, and others.
Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa the chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM on Tuesday, received the honor of Officer of the Order on the Niger (OON) from President Buhari.
Also receiving national honors was the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba who was conferred with the Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR).
Retired IGP, Dr Solomon Arase, and Mohammed Adamu received conferment as Members of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
The event was held at the international conference center in Abuja.
Over 400 national awards were given out by the president on Tuesday to honour Nigerians who have distinguished themselves while also serving the nation meritoriously.
