It all started with a podcast interview. During a recent chat with Isbae U on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast, singer Bella Shmurda was asked if he would ever collaborate with controversial street-hop star, Portable.
His answer was clear and calm. “I just don’t see the connection in the music. I don’t want wahala, I want peace,” Bella said, making it known that their styles don’t match and he wasn’t interested in any trouble.
But Portable wasn’t having it. Shortly after the interview went viral, Portable took to his Instagram page and fired back.
In a heated video, he slammed Bella Shmurda, calling him a “failed musician” and claiming that Bella couldn’t afford to work with him even if he wanted to.
“Don’t mention my name in your interviews again,” Portable warned. “You say you can’t feature me? I’ve been to America, London.
“It’s not about who blew first, it’s about who is still blowing.”
He didn’t stop there.
“You and me no get any connection. You are a failure. I don’t roll with failures. I don’t make music with failures,” he added.
