Nigerian street sensation, Portable, publicly criticised Davido, accusing him of giving him a piece of advice that is bad.

The singer Portable, known for his song ‘Zazu,’ said Davido advised him not to join Sony Music, where Davido himself is signed but to join Empire instead.
Portable accused Davido of unfairness, mentioning that he also aims to win a Grammy like Davido, but believes joining Empire might not help him achieve that goal.

Portable said: “You are signed to Sony Music, but you’re giving me bad advice in America to get signed to Empire and collect advance. The same Grammy you’re chasing is what I’m also chasing”.
Furthermore, He subtly criticised Davido, emphasising that those who truly help you will never bother you.
He also praised Olamide and British rapper Skepta, highlighting that they supported him without needing to spend time with him.
