The Erelu Okin of Orile Kemta, Pearl Chidinma Ogbolu who distributed petrol as party souvenir has finally reacted to the controversy.
Recall that kegs of petrol bearing ‘Erelu Okin Foundation Installation Party’s stickers were shared at the ceremony which sparked several reactions on social media.

The footage triggered anger that got the authorities’ attention. Many complained that risks and the pains of Nigerians suffering fuel scarcity were ignored.
A popular Fuji musician, Malaika also performed at the star studded event which was well attended by high profile socialites.
In a recent Instagram post, Erelu tendered an apology for bringing in fuel into the hall.
According to her, it was a way of appreciating her guests for coming to her party despite the scarcity of fuel.
“I have paused to reflect and truly apologise and I thank you all for your understanding and criticisms”, she wrote.
