Chief James Onwordi sika Ibori Ubulu has criticized the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for allegedly “failing to resolve the party’s crisis.”

The Onishe of Ubulu Uku Kingdom and Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization made this known during the Delta Social Media Summit organized by the Delta State Governor Senior Special Assistant on Media Mr Ossai Ovie Success held at the Mariam Babangida Leisure Park where comedian Real Warri Pikin gifted Success Adegor with 1M and also scholarship to university level.

In addition, he attributed the party’s challenges to the leadership’s ineffectiveness and called for a change in leadership.

Onwordi absolved the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike of blame, noting his significant investments in the party has made him to be loved by Nigerians.

PDP Positively Impacted By Wike?

Furthermore, he argued that Wike’s actions were a response to the party’s failure to address its internal issues noting that Wike has positive impact on the PDP, despite his opposition to the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

However, while criticizing Dino Melaye for his actions, which according to him has undermined the party’s image and created divisions within the party, he claimed Dino Melaye’s behavior during the 2023 general elections was seen as “contradictory to the party’s ideology and he hasn’t contributed to the growth of PDP, suggesting he has not worked to strengthen the party or promote its values.”

Moreso, Onwordi expressed disappointment with the tenure of lliya Damagum as acting national chairman, citing the persistence of crisis within the party.

While expressing displeasure over the Chairperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BOT) Adolphus Wabara, he claimed Wabara has failed
to unify the party despite his leadership position.

He also criticized the 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for allegedly “failing to unite the party and address post-election grievances.”
