Paul Okoye, famously known as Rudeboy and one half of the iconic Nigerian music duo P-Square, recently took to social media to air his grievances about his twin brother, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, and their shared music producer.

P Square: Rudeboy Accuses Mr P Of Alleged Song Theft

In a post that quickly caught fans’ attention, Rudeboy claimed that one of his own songs had been taken and given to his brother without his consent.

The song in question, titled Winning, was recently released by Mr P following P-Square’s third and latest breakup earlier this year.

However, according to Rudeboy, Winning was a track he had originally written and performed with a particular producer, who, he alleges, passed it on to Mr P instead.

The similarities, he says, are striking word for word, the lyrics and melodies mirror his original creation.

In a passionate Instagram post, Rudeboy detailed his frustration, sharing that he had submitted six songs to their “so-called management” as potential tracks for his upcoming album, expected to drop in June.

“Why re-singing my song word for word?” he asked, visibly upset at the lack of respect he feels for his creative work.

Alongside his post, Rudeboy directed some stern words at both the producer and the management team, hinting that he might release his original versions if more of his songs ended up being copied.

“The days of manipulation are over,” he warned, making it clear that he would no longer stand for what he perceives as unfair practices.
