After four days of celebrating Isese festival in Akure, Ondo state, traditionalists gave a suggestion that concerns good governance.
They advocated for oath taking in the traditional way by political office holders as a way to checkmate corruption and arbitrary use of power.
The leader of the traditionalists and the Araba Awo of Okeagbe, Ayobami Ogedemgbe, while speaking to newsmen said;
“Isese path is one we know that the Irunmoles uphold the integrity and if people say that this is what I will do, naturally I do not think any Yoruba person will go against Ayelala or doubt the efficacy of Ogun.

“So if our politicians want us to fix this country and rid this country of thieves, I think one of the steps is to go through the Isese route to install them into office.’’
