Omah Lay has never been one to shy away from pouring his heart into his music. From the soulful ache in Boy Alone to the vulnerability in his social media posts, Omah Lay has been walking his audience through his darkest valleys  and he’s doing it again.

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the Soso crooner took to X with a statement that was raw and painfully honest. “10M in pounds or dollars right now will heal me for at least a month,” he wrote.

Behind those words was a familiar feeling  a battle he has faced and spoken about before: depression.

This isn’t the first time Omah Lay has let the world in on his struggles. In July 2022, just days after dropping his debut album Boy Alone, he made a shocking confession that his depression worsened after an intimate encounter with his therapist.

The album itself had already been a diary of sorts, revealing a young man grappling with fame, pain, and a sense of deep emotional loneliness.

Now, with his second album, Clarity of Mind, on the horizon, Omah Lay is offering another chapter of his journey  not just the hurt, but the healing.

The title hints at hope. At clarity. At growth. But as his recent post shows, the journey is still ongoing.

And if money could mend a broken heart, even for just a month, Omah Lay is ready to take the offer.

For now, he continues to speak, sing, and survive giving a voice to those who feel the same but don’t know how to say it.
