Ogun State’s slogan is “The Gateway State,” but it is rather disturbing that in recent times, it has become the hub of criminal activities and cultist operations.
How humanity is being thrown away when these perpetrators swing into action against fellow humans is quite alarming.
The Police Command of Ogun State has arrested a suspected cultist, Ishola Joseph, for the murder of a rival identified as Segun in Abeokuta.
The incident took place at Bode Olude Junction on Tuesday night, May 14, 2024.
SP Omolola Odutola, who is the spokesperson for the command, confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday.
He said the suspect chopped off the victim’s right wrist after killing him.
According to the PPRO, the suspect was caught and beaten while trying to escape from the scene.
“One Segun, aka ”Ojo Ibo,” was killed and his right wrist chopped off at about 2130 hours on May 14, 2024.
