Popular American rapper Offset is now seeking spousal support from his estranged wife, Cardi B, in the midst of their ongoing divorce battle.
The divorce proceedings began when Cardi B filed for separation in August 2024.
She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakdown of their marriage.
In his initial legal response filed in February 2025, Offset requested joint custody of their three children and proposed that Cardi B’s residence remain the children’s primary home

However, new court documents reveal that Offset has updated his petition.
They are requesting financial support from Cardi B as part of the divorce settlement.
While the rapper did not disclose the specific amount he’s asking for, TMZ reports that he is also asking the court to ensure a fair distribution of legal fees between both parties.
The couple, often described as a “hip-hop power duo,” secretly tied the knot in 2017 and have since shared both public affection and private turmoil.
