Popular Nollywood actor, Peter Ijagbemi, is now officially married, tying the knot with his partner, Folajogun Akinlami. It was an intimate ceremony attended by close family members.

The Yoruba film star shared beautiful moments from the wedding on his Instagram page.

He confirmed her decision to embrace love once again and commit to a lifelong journey with her partner.

Today I married my best friend and said yes to forever with him,” she wrote.

It was a message riddled with excitement and joy.

“Today I decided to get back up and give love another chance. Today I decided to change my surname. I realised Folajogun Akinlami is quite a mouthful. Mrs Fola Peters Ijagbemi will do just fine.”

Folajogun has since updated her social media profiles to reflect her new surname.

This signals the start of a new chapter both personally and publicly.
