Nollywood actor and content creator, Odira Nwobu, was involved in a ghastly car accident that occurred on Wednesday along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
This leaves many in shock, sparking widespread concern about his wellbeing.
A disturbing viral video from the accident scene showed bystanders frantically pulling injured victims from the crumpled wreckage.
Odira Nwobu’s car was among the most badly affected, with the front and side sections completely smashed, leaving it nearly unrecognisable.
Despite the severity of the crash, Odira was seen conscious but visibly injured, with blood stains covering parts of his body, as he lay on the ground awaiting emergency assistance.
He was later rushed to the hospital alongside other survivors for urgent medical treatment.
Eyewitnesses report that the accident was fatal for some passengers, though the number of casualties is yet to be confirmed by authorities.
The tragic incident has since sparked an outpouring of prayers and support from fans, colleagues, and concerned Nigerians online.
