According to recent figures released by Cable.co.uk and We Are Social, and shared by World of Statistics on X, Nigerians dedicate an impressive average of 3 hours and 23 minutes each day to social media platforms.
The data highlights a growing trend in digital engagement across the globe, with Kenya leading the pack.
Kenyans spend the most time online, averaging 3 hours and 43 minutes daily, closely followed by South Africa at 3 hours and 37 minutes.
Brazil takes the third spot with an average of 3 hours and 34 minutes, while the Philippines ranks fourth at 3 hours and 33 minutes.
This trend reflects not just the prevalence of social media in daily life, but also the vibrant online communities that Nigerians engage with.
